Butterfly valve grooved end

Profit butterfly valves type GBV are indicating valves, with 2 built-in supervisory switches. They have a grooved in-and outlet and for installation the use of two Profit grooved mechanical couplings is recommended. The valves are designed to be used in fire protection sprinkler systems and HVAC systems.

  • Available sizes: DN50 - DN300 (2" – 12").
  • Installation by use of two Profit grooved mechanical couplings.
  • Working pressure: 2,07 MPa / 20,7 bar / 300 psi.
  • Working temperature: +1°C to +80°C.
  • Protection class: IP67.
  • Built-in supervisory switches:
    - One switch to guard the open valve position.
    - Other switch to guard the closed valve position.
  • Provided with 2 tapped bosses (1/4” BSPT, upstream and downstream) that can serve as dry valve trim connection or for a pressure gauge.
  • FM approved / EAC certified / UL certified.
  • Also available with CNPP approval from stock, on request.
